Asbestos Floor Tile & Mastic Removal in Colorado Springs

Clear the old floor before the new one goes down.

Older floor tile, sheet flooring and the black adhesive (mastic) underneath can contain asbestos. Paramount Environmental Services tests these layers and removes them safely before your new flooring goes in.

Common asbestos flooring materials

9x9 and 12x12 vinyl tiles, sheet vinyl backing and black cutback mastic are common examples of flooring that may contain asbestos. Not every old floor does, so testing comes first.

Grinding, sanding or breaking these materials can release fibers. If you are planning to replace flooring, tell us the rooms and layers involved when you request a quote.

Removal before new flooring

Confirmed asbestos flooring is removed inside a contained area using wet methods and filtered air. Mastic is removed down to a surface that is ready for your flooring installer.

We explain the scope, schedule and any prep your installer should know about in your written quote.

What our customers say

“We talked to and met with other abatement companies to help us navigate the nightmare of discovering asbestos in our home. From our very first meeting with Randy we knew without a doubt that we'd found the team that could get the job done.”

“Hired Paramount to encapsulate asbestos insulation on furnace ducts. Randy provided a good quote, John was great to work with, and Xavier did a nice job. When a material (coating) issue arose, Paramount REALLY stepped up and made it right. Cannot say enough about the integrity they showed. Very highly recommended.”

“John and his guys were absolutely wonderful to work with. We are currently selling our house and needed this work done immediately. From the time I got John on the phone to the time the work was done was about an hour and the price was incredibly reasonable.
