Contained removal of asbestos floor tile, sheet flooring and black mastic before new floors go in. Paramount Environmental Services is a family-owned, CDPHE-licensed team serving Florence and Fremont County.
Asbestos Floor Tile & Mastic Removal for Florence properties
Florence's historic downtown and older homes commonly contain asbestos in plaster, flooring, roofing, and boiler or pipe insulation.
Common asbestos flooring materials
9x9 and 12x12 vinyl tiles, sheet vinyl backing and black cutback mastic are common examples of flooring that may contain asbestos. Not every old floor does, so testing comes first.
Grinding, sanding or breaking these materials can release fibers. If you are planning to replace flooring, tell us the rooms and layers involved when you request a quote.
Removal before new flooring
Confirmed asbestos flooring is removed inside a contained area using wet methods and filtered air. Mastic is removed down to a surface that is ready for your flooring installer.
We explain the scope, schedule and any prep your installer should know about in your written quote.
