Popcorn Ceiling Asbestos Removal in Colorado Springs
Test first, then remove your popcorn ceiling the safe way.
Textured and popcorn ceilings were common in Colorado Springs homes for decades, and some of them contain asbestos. Paramount Environmental Services tests the ceiling texture and, when asbestos is confirmed, removes it inside a contained work area.
Test the popcorn ceiling before scraping
You cannot tell whether a popcorn ceiling contains asbestos by looking at it. A sample analyzed by a lab gives you the answer before anyone sprays, scrapes or sands it.
Scraping a ceiling that contains asbestos can release fibers through the house. Until it is tested, leave the texture alone and avoid drilling into it for lights or fans.
How popcorn ceiling removal works
When testing confirms asbestos, the room is sealed off, air is filtered and the texture is wetted and removed by trained crews. Waste is bagged and taken to an approved disposal facility.
When the work is done, the area is cleaned and checked before it is handed back so your painter or drywall finisher can take over.

What our customers say
“We talked to and met with other abatement companies to help us navigate the nightmare of discovering asbestos in our home. From our very first meeting with Randy we knew without a doubt that we'd found the team that could get the job done.”
“Hired Paramount to encapsulate asbestos insulation on furnace ducts. Randy provided a good quote, John was great to work with, and Xavier did a nice job. When a material (coating) issue arose, Paramount REALLY stepped up and made it right. Cannot say enough about the integrity they showed. Very highly recommended.”
“John and his guys were absolutely wonderful to work with. We are currently selling our house and needed this work done immediately. From the time I got John on the phone to the time the work was done was about an hour and the price was incredibly reasonable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for their services.”
